Luca Montagna’s Artcafé roasting company was born in 1994. The idea behind the creation of the company was to reflect the true character of Italy, along with its tradition, culture, art and lifestyle. All those elements have been blended with the founder’s true love for the art of coffee roasting.

Luca Montagna is a passionate and visionary coffee roaster, who began his career over 40 years ago in an artisanal roasting company. With study and dedication, he quickly gained awareness of the entire journey the precious raw material must make from a simple coffee bean, through the roasting process, all the way to the extraction.

In the countries of origin, he captures the diverse characteristics of coffee varieties and selects only those coffee farms which truly prioritise quality.

As an excellence seeker, Luca Montagna dedicates himself to thorough monitoring of all the production stages, from the single plant to the meticulous roasting process, which is tailored to each individual sack, in order to determine aromas of memorable profile.
